RN Inpatient Rehab
Overview
- Travel RN role in Inpatient Rehab
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Do not accept local candidates
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 6:30a-7:00p or 6:30p-7:00a
- Every other weekend and holiday rotations
- Call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- 1 year of rehabilitation experience
- Rehabilitation experience within the last year
- Experience in an Inpatient Rehab or Skilled Nursing setting
- Med Surg experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Med Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity
Float Scope
- No float currently
- May be required to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 minutes in the near future
Unit Details
- Rehab department
- 49 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:7
- Adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high-acuity needs
Additional Notes
- High-acuity inpatient rehab setting that functions similarly to a medical surgical unit
- Nurses are expected to help CNAs and answer call lights for patient safety
