Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)
Overview
- Specialty: Surgical Services
- Location: San Francisco, California
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5x8 variable shifts, with start times from 6:45 to 23:30
- Weekends: Included in the schedule rotation
- On-call: Required
- Float scope: Occasional float to CPMC Davies and Van Ness campuses
Role Summary
Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to department and hospital standards to support quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- CST or NBSTSA
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Experience working with Neuro patients
- Experience working with Spine patients
- Experience working with Orthopedics patients
- Experience with orthospine surgery
- Experience with total joint surgery procedures
- Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience is ideal
Additional Notes
- Strong in Neuro, Spine, and Ortho is emphasized for this opening.
