Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Overview
- Location: White Plains, New York
- Unit: one-bed cardiac cath lab
- Schedule: Days, 7a-5p with flex time on Mondays and Thursdays; occasional 9a-7p or 11a-9p shifts
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Call required: 1 full weekend a month plus 1 day a week
Role Details
- Primary role is post cath patient care
- Also expected to circulate and monitor cases
- Scrub experience is preferred, but not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New York
- Cath Lab Technologist (3 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- Experience working with Cardiac patients
- Experience with transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
- Structural heart experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrub experience
