RN Psych

Overview

• Role: RN Psych
• Specialty / unit: Inpatient Psych / Behavioral Health
• Location: Elmira, New York
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 16 weeks

Schedule

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Shift time: 15:00–23:30
• Holidays and every other weekend are expected
• Blocked scheduling must be previously agreed upon
• Scheduled weekends off cannot be approved unless coverage is found, unless previously specified within RDO

Role details

• Will be trained to charge nurse responsibility
• May float to a like unit: ARU - Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit
• RN uniform policy: navy blue scrubs

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Psychiatric experience with 3 years of experience
• Psychiatric experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• CPI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
