Travel LTAC Registered Nurse (RN) – Savannah, GA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Setting: LTAC Facility
Shift: 3x12s, Nights
Start Date: ASAP
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by implementing the nursing care plan, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments within 8 hours of admission

Develop individualized care plans and identify teaching needs based on assessments
-
Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based practices and the nursing process
-
Participate in care team conferences, patient education, and discharge planning from day one
-
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
-
Supervise and delegate tasks to support personnel in alignment with patient care needs
-
Communicate patient status changes promptly to the care team and physicians
-
Monitor and manage supplies and equipment to ensure cost-effective care
-
Maintain a safe environment and support hospital safety standards
-
Serve as Charge Nurse as needed
Qualifications:
-
Active RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact license)

Minimum of 1 year of LTAC or acute care experience preferred

BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
-
Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
