Travel CT Technologist – Weekend Overnights – Rochester, NY

Schedule: Friday–Sunday | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM EST
Location: Rochester, NY
On-Call: Yes – includes holidays and callback per unit needs

HumanEdge Health is seeking a highly skilled Travel CT Tech for a weekend overnight shift assignment in a Level 1 Trauma Center in Rochester, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while providing essential care during high-demand hours.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and verify orders before performing exams

• Communicate with physicians to ensure proper imaging protocol

• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation

• Start IVs and administer contrast as needed (willingness to obtain injection certification required)

• Safely lift, move, and position patients with limited mobility

• Perform high-quality diagnostic scans using Philips and Siemens CT equipment

• Accurately document all scan data in EPIC and ensure proper PACS image transmission

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the CT suite

• Participate in on-call and holiday coverage rotation

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology

• ARRT certification (CT)

• NYS Radiologic Tech license (must be obtained prior to start)

• BLS certification (AHA only)

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience

• Previous Level 1 Trauma Center experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Injection certification (preferred; must be willing to complete during orientation)

• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens CT scanners
