Travel CT Technologist – Weekend Overnights

Duration: 17 weeks
Schedule: 3x12s – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a Level 1 trauma center, ensuring patient safety, and delivering compassionate care during overnight weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scans, adhering strictly to department policy.

• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and assist in clinical decision-making.

• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help them feel comfortable.

• Insert IVs when necessary for tests.

• Position patients safely, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility, following safe patient handling protocols.

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC, including identifying images and ensuring proper transfer to PACS.

• Keep the scanning facility clean, safe, and well-organized.

Requirements:

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.

• ARRT Certification.

• NYS CT Licensure (must obtain prior to start).

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma center.

• BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

Preferred:

• Injection certification (Philips Red), willing to complete during orientation.

• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens CT equipment.
