Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3x12s – Wednesday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Thursday & Friday 8:30 AM – 11:00 PM; holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role provides diagnostic imaging support in a Level 1 Trauma Center, ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging, and compassionate care during varied day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scans, strictly following department protocols.

• Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.

• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.

• Insert IVs when necessary for testing.

• Position patients safely, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility, following safe patient handling protocols.

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and ensure images are properly sent to PACS.

• Keep the scanning area clean, safe, and organized.

Requirements:

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology

• ARRT Certification

• NYS CT Licensure (must obtain prior to start)

• Minimum 2 years CT experience

• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center

• BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

Preferred:

• Injection certification (willing to complete during orientation)

• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens CT equipment
