Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts
- Weekend coverage required
- On-call coverage required (including independent on-call for trauma)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology
- Radiology MA License required
- Registration as RT (Radiologic Technologist) ART required
- Ability to work independently in IR procedure rooms and manage on-call trauma cases
- Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
- Scrub and circulator experience
- Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices (PE/Stroke)
- Experience with angiographic procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty
- CT experience required; must be able to perform both CT and IR procedures
Additional Information
- Contract guarantees 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
- Orientation held weekly (every Monday except holidays)
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Candidates who have worked for this health system in any capacity within the last 6 months are not eligible
- Parking may cost up to $43/day in some locations
This position is ideal for experienced IR Technologists comfortable with independent work, on-call trauma coverage, and a variety of advanced IR and CT procedures.
