Description

Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

10-hour day shifts
Weekend coverage required
On-call coverage required (including independent on-call for trauma)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology
Radiology MA License required
Registration as RT (Radiologic Technologist) ART required
Ability to work independently in IR procedure rooms and manage on-call trauma cases
Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
Scrub and circulator experience
Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices (PE/Stroke)
Experience with angiographic procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty
CT experience required; must be able to perform both CT and IR procedures

Additional Information

Contract guarantees 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
Orientation held weekly (every Monday except holidays)
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Candidates who have worked for this health system in any capacity within the last 6 months are not eligible
Parking may cost up to $43/day in some locations

This position is ideal for experienced IR Technologists comfortable with independent work, on-call trauma coverage, and a variety of advanced IR and CT procedures.
