Shift: Nights, 10-hour shifts (10:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
On Call: None

Facility:

• 166-bed community hospital

• 3 CT scanners: GE Optima, Siemens Force, GE Ascend (in ED)

• Patient mix: ~75% ER, 20% inpatient, 5% outpatient

• Stroke & trauma coverage

• Imaging: Brain, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and miscellaneous trauma from head to toe

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services for a community hospital in Riverhead, NY. The technologist will perform CT scans primarily for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging studies per physician orders and department protocols

• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during imaging

• Operate CT scanners and maintain proper calibration and quality control

• Be flexible to perform X-ray procedures if needed

• Collaborate with radiologists, ER staff, and other clinical personnel

• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information

Qualifications:

• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist license

• ARRT (R) with CT certification

• NYS IV/Injection Certification (or ability to complete BERT certification course with physician sign-off)

• BLS required

• Experience in stroke, trauma, and general CT imaging preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
