Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Job Overview

  • Maintain delivery of quality care by ensuring the care plan is followed.
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and orientees.
  • Support a 12/9 Go-Live with orientation from 12/1 to 12/8 at the current location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans.
  • Identify patient teaching needs and goals in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide timely patient information for initial and weekly re-evaluation team conferences.
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
  • Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
  • Seek consultation from senior nursing staff for complex clinical decisions.
  • Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
  • Ensure personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
  • Contribute positively to unit functioning by providing calm direction and reassurance.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
  • Provide cost-effective care while promoting quality patient outcomes.
  • Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
  • Pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
  • Prioritize activities and manage time and staff effectively to meet patient needs.

Contract Length

Required Skills and Certifications

  • BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
  • ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only).
  • Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
