Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Level 2) - Days

Job Description

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans, adhering strictly to safety policies.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
• Insert IVs when necessary for tests.
• Position patients safely, including lifting or moving those with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC, ensuring images are properly identified and sent to the PACS system.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.

Requirements

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• New York State licensure (must be obtained prior to starting).
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience (including Level 1 Trauma Center experience).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• Siemens scanner experience is required.
• Epic system experience is highly desired.
• Injection certification preferred; must be willing to complete during orientation.

Work Schedule

• Dayshift: 10:00 AM – 8:30 AM (next day).
• Includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback as needed.
