RN Oncology - Hemo
Location

Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Job Summary
- Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with a range of health problems.
- Responsible for an assigned group of patients and for documenting responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments.
- Assists with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products.
- Communicates care plans and discharge information to patients and families, and delegates tasks to support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Hematology / Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Hematology / Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Skills
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Ability to maintain good working relationships
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
- Some computer skills
