Work Schedule

• 32 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend commitment: up to every other weekend

Unit and Patient Population

• Unit: Case Management – RN Case Manager
• Patient Population: Adult inpatient medical/surgical
• Bed Count: 200
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:15
• EMR System: EPIC
• Floating: Yes
• No rotating shifts required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 3 years of case management experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Acute hospital case management experience
• Skills in utilization management, utilization review, and discharge planning
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Weekend availability up to every other weekend

Additional Requirements

• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days prior to start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
• Documentation of TB screening within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Documentation of MMR immunity or vaccination
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Passing MGB Medication Exam (80% or higher) within 365 days
• Criminal background check, Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, National Sex Offender Check, and Exclusion Checks completed within required timeframes
• Submission of resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two professional references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor-level)
• Completion of skills checklist within 1 year of submission
• Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions
