Job Description

• Float Pool RN position requiring willingness to float to 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units throughout the hospital.
• Units include various Med/Surg Telemetry areas, Emergency Department, Acute Mental Health Unit, and ICU (non-vented, transfer-ready patients).
• Shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights with rotation every other week (EOW) and 1 to 3 night rotations per contract.
• Total weekly hours: 36 hours.
• Patient ratios: Up to 5:1 on Days & Evenings, up to 6:1 on Nights.
• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, performing cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours.
• Experience with TR Band required.
• Charting system: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years working as a Traveler
• Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience with TR Band
• Experience performing cardiac drips

Additional Information

• Must be willing to float across multiple units.
• Patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health medication nursing, and ICU transfer-ready patients.
• Bed counts in units range from 8 to 41 beds.
• Free on-site parking available.

This position is ideal for experienced telemetry RNs with travel nursing background who are flexible and able to work across multiple hospital units.
