Description
CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)
Location: Powell, Ohio
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Two scheduling options:
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Weekend hours: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday or Monday hours: 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- Department hours:
- Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations using Siemens Force CT scanner
- Complete daily quality assurance (QA) documentation
- Prepare and educate patients for CT procedures
- Administer contrast and dose patients according to protocol
- Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and excellent customer service
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary care team for timely, accurate imaging

Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- ARRT (Radiography) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check including FBI and BCI fingerprinting required within 90 days of start
- Fingerprinting must be completed using specific Ohio codes; results must be clear before or pending with attestation
- Education verification from accredited programs required
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug test within 3 months of start (includes amphetamines, benzodiazepines, THC, cocaine, opiates, etc.)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- Tdap (adult dose after age 11/12)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer (medical exemptions require documentation)
- Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
- Fit mask test required annually for patient-facing roles (valid for entire assignment length)
- Background checks include EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring monthly
Additional Requirements
- 2 professional references required; at least one must be from a manager or formal leadership
- Employment application and skills checklist required
- Unit-specific competency exams may be required
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required annually
Notes
- Candidates can renew BLS certification onsite if needed
- Pending fingerprint results require attestation before start
- Facility dress code and hand hygiene policies must be reviewed and signed
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate required prior to start and updated annually
- No annual background check required by client, but agency requires annual background check for direct candidates
This position offers a travel contract opportunity for a CT Technologist with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient care in a multi-modality outpatient setting.
