Travel CT Technologist – Barberton Campus, OH
📍 Location: Barberton Campus, Barberton, Ohio
🏥 Department: CT scan (1300 75201)
📅 Assignment: 08/02/2026 – 10/31/2026 (13 Weeks)
💰 Travel Rate: $95 per hour.
🕒 Schedule: Rotating 36–40 hours/week | Day Shift
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Rotating weekends
- No Holiday Coverage
- No On-Call Required
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging team at Summa Health – Barberton Campus. The CT Tech will perform high-quality CT examinations and diagnostic radiographic procedures while collaborating closely with Radiologists, Emergency Department providers, and the Stroke Team.
This position requires a confident technologist who is comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment with emergency imaging, stroke protocols, and general CT procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans following departmental imaging protocols.
- Operate Toshiba/Canon CT scanners for routine and emergency imaging.
- Perform CT examinations for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations.
- Participate in Stroke Team activations and provide rapid imaging for emergent neurological patients.
- Perform General Emergency Department CT procedures.
- Evaluate image quality and obtain additional images when required by the Radiologist.
- Safely administer IV contrast according to facility protocols.
- Properly position patients while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Ensure accurate documentation within the Radiology Information System (RIS/PACS).
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
- Assist physicians during invasive imaging procedures when necessary.
- Verify patient identity, history, allergies, and imaging orders before each examination.
- Maintain equipment readiness and perform routine quality assurance checks.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure timely patient care.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience (Required)
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (R) Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Ohio Radiographer License
- BLS Certification
- CT Registry (preferred or ability to obtain within one year)
- Experience with IV contrast administration
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols
- Ability to work independently in emergency situations
