Pediatric Stepdown RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day or night shifts
- Schedule includes Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
Unit / Patient Population
- Pediatric medical-surgical and stepdown intermediate care
- Mix of acuity from general medical to stepdown IMC
- Patient populations include neuro, diabetic, nephrology, spinal fusion, intermediate care, and general care
- May care for patients with pulmonary lines, respiratory failure, tracheostomy, ventilator dependence, CPAP, and BiPAP
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience in Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Stepdown experience
- Pediatric Med Surg experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
Additional Notes
- Every other weekend is required
- Day/night scheduling is available
