Pediatric Stepdown

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Madison, Wisconsin
13-week assignment
36 hours per week
12-hour day or night shifts
Schedule includes Monday through Friday with every other weekend required

Unit Details

Pediatric unit with mixed acuity from general medical to stepdown/intermediate care
Patient population includes neuro, diabetic, nephrology, spinal fusion, intermediate care, and general care patients
May care for pulmonary lines and respiratory failure cases that can require tracheostomy and ventilator dependence
CPAP and BiPAP used on the unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
2 years of experience in Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit
Pediatric Med Surg experience
Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with Epic

Notes

Day/night shift assignment
Every other weekend is required
