Job Overview

Unit Details
- PCU / Neuro PCU
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio at night: 1:4, sometimes 1:5
- May be required to float divisionally, to overflow, and to ED holds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Epic experience
- CPI
Scheduling Notes
- Must be able to work 2–3 holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day
