Overview

• Travel/Contract RN/MS/Tele in Lees Summit, Missouri
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–7:15
• 30 rooms/beds
• Average daily census: 29
• General intermediate population
• Float scope: within the service line and to sister facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• DOU - Direct Observation Unit experience
• Stroke experience
• Orthopedics experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekend requirement: 4–6 shifts every 6 weeks
• No more than 7 days of RTO
• No pending license accepted
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

• Manage cardiac drips, no titration

• Total joint replacements
• Surgical drains
• Chest tubes with Emerson/PleurEvac
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Nasal cannula
• Oxygen administration
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Isolation precautions
• Wound care/Wound Vac

• Urology procedures
• GI bleed
• 18 PACU bays
• 16 Pre-Op bays
• Monthly census of 450–550 surgical patients and 130–180 GI patients
