Opportunity:

RN - Admin

Job Details:

• Work in surgical room setting with 12-hour and 8-hour shift options available
• Shift times available: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, 2:45 PM - 7:15 PM, 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Schedule options include 3x12 hour shifts, 2x8 hour and 2x12 hour shifts, or 5x8 hour shifts
• Weekend rotation required every 4th weekend (Saturday-Sunday)
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call responsibilities dependent on shifts/service line with 30-minute response time required
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Handle 60-75 cases per day with outpatient, inpatient, and trauma patients
• Work with diverse patient types including general surgery, gynecology, urology, robotic procedures, vascular, orthopedic, neurology, open heart surgeries, and CABGs
• 20% pediatric cases including open heart, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy procedures
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• 2-3 years acute care setting experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Critical care experience preferred
• Trauma experience at Level 1-2 facility required
• EPIC experience required
• BLS certification required
• Scrubs provided
• Use EPIC charting system, Alaris and Pyxis equipment
• No floating required
• 6-week schedule provided 2-4 weeks in advance
• Schedule is rotation-based with no self-scheduling

The facility operates a 28-bed surgical unit with 2 hybrid rooms for cardiovascular and vascular procedures, maintaining 24/7 operations 365 days a year. The organization provides comprehensive surgical services including transplant procedures, trauma care, and specialized hybrid room capabilities, supported by experienced charge nurses, anesthesiologists, resource nurses, and educational staff.
