Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in cardiac catheterization lab with 2 rooms - 1 EP/Cath room and 1 Cath Lab
• Handle 4 average cases per day
• Provide care for diagnostic and interventional procedures including femoral and radial approach, IFR, FFR, and balloon pumps
• Support electrophysiology procedures including pacemakers, AICS, loop recorders, diagnostic EP, and right sided ablations
• Work in 24/7, 365 STEMI Program environment
• Float only between rooms in department and pre-op area
• Weekend rotation on-call only
• On-call schedule: 8 AM to noon Saturdays and Sundays for stress tests, TEEs and cardioversions
• Holiday call required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Critical care experience (ED or ICU) required
• Experience with balloon pumps and temporary pacers required
• Must work well in team environment with strong communication skills
• Scrubs provided, leads available but recommended to bring your own
• Technology includes EPIC EMR, Maclab hemodynamic system, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis med dispensing, and GE C-arms
• Free parking available

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring a Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center with 72 beds. The cardiac services department provides advanced cardiovascular care with modern technology and equipment. The facility maintains a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary team support including receptionist/HUC, respiratory therapy, and hospitalist services.
