Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse and Scrub Technician positions are available in Presque Isle, Maine. These roles involve supporting a busy surgical unit with a variety of case types, including general, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, and orthopedic surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their licensed credentials on the first day.

Job Details

Location: Presque Isle, Maine
Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM; weekend rotation only on call; call required once per week and once every 4-6 weeks for weekends.
Required Qualifications: RN and Certified Scrub Tech candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, hold BLS and ACLS (ACLS preferred) certifications, and possess certification through NCCT or NBSTSA for scrub tech. Valid license is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with circulating in C-sections, heavy orthopedic trauma cases, total joint surgeries, and on-call experience.
Additional Information: Orientation period is approximately 2 weeks, dependent on skillset. Support staff includes supervisor, OR educator, and CRNA. Technology includes Cerner EMR system, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing. No float rotation is required. Parking is free.
