Description

Job Summary: Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse in Asheville, North Carolina. The role is responsible for providing patient care in a fast-paced medical telemetry environment, utilizing required clinical skills and available monitoring technology. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Medical Telemetry experience; Electronic medical record (EMR) experience with Cerner; current telemetry competencies consistent with unit needs; license required (bring on the first day).
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) (encouraged); Leadership experience (charge nurse experience and/or leadership experience may be considered favorable); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information:
- Unit supports care for patients requiring medical remote telemetry monitoring and related observation/monitoring workflows.
- Weekend requirements include signing up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts on night shift).
- Typical patient pre-procedure preparation may include support for Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Operating Room (OR) workflows.
