Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position available in the Florida region. This assignment involves floating among Medical Surgical units at a healthcare provider, delivering patient care on a 12-hour night shift schedule. The role is suited for experienced nurses comfortable with flexible unit assignments and requiring a minimum of two years of Med/Surg experience.

Job Details:

• Position: RN Medical Surgical

• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor

• Location: Saint Augustine, Florida (within 50.5-mile radius rule)

• Schedule: 12H Night Shift, 07:00 PM 07:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Length of Assignment: 13 weeks, starting on 08/03/2026 and ending on 10/10/2026

• Travel Required: Yes

• Float Required: Yes (Float rotation may be required)

• Required Qualifications:

  • Travel experience required
  • EPIC experience required
  • BLS required
  • Florida license or compact license must be on file at time of submission

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACLS certification

• Unit Details:

  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1
  • Dress code: Navy scrubs, closed-toe shoes, well-groomed hair/beard, jewelry not permitted
  • Interview process: Unit Manager interviews required
  • Compliance & Onboarding: Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) may take up to 14 business days to process
  • RTO Policy: No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks; maximum of 8 days RTO for the entire 13-week assignment
  • Vaccination Policy: Medical exemptions for seasonal influenza allowed; exemption form required; candidates declining vaccination must complete a module
