Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse position in Michigan. This role involves collaborating with physicians to develop and implement care plans aimed at restoring patients to optimal health. The nurse will provide bedside care, execute medical orders, and oversee functions performed by various clinical support staff. The position requires working night shifts, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, care coordination, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36.0 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in AWHONN, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA); State licensure in Michigan; 2+ years of obstetric (OB) experience; AWHONN certification within the last two years
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Position involves collaborating with the physician to provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care, delegating and supervising support staff functions, and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
