Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a dedicated unit. The position offers a dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence, aligned with facility protocols and standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in North Carolina, Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or equivalent, and at least 1 year of experience in neonatal or pediatric critical care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal ventilators, familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Additional Information: This role requires adherence to facility policies, including orientation consisting of a 4-hour hospital introduction followed by an 8-hour shift on the unit. Proper scrubs for the clinical team: navy and white for RNs, galaxy blue for CNAs, purple for sitters, medium gray for RTs, and sage green for LPNs. Kronos clock-in instructions must be followed as provided. No tobacco use is permitted on campus properties.
