Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse at a healthcare facility located in a hospital setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in the emergency department based on organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The nurse provides direct patient care, collaborates with the healthcare team, and ensures effective communication and patient safety during shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Experience in emergency room settings, with a minimum of 0 years in current practice, is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred). Professional certification related to emergency nursing is recommended.
• Additional Information: The registered nurse will assess patient needs, formulate and revise care plans, provide direct care, delegate appropriately, and document accurately in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Active participation in clinical best practices and quality improvement activities is encouraged. Candidates must be prepared to respond quickly to unexpected patient needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, utilizing specialized skills in emergency care.
