Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry is needed in a healthcare facility located at an unspecified site. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for neuro, pulmonary, and general telemetry patients. The position requires recent, relevant experience and adherence to unit-specific protocols to support patient recovery and safety.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: 2 years minimum recent experience (within the past 6 months), valid BLS, ACLS certifications, NIHSS certification, and a licensed nurse eligible for submission.
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with every other weekend required. The minimum hours per week are 36.
Additional Information: The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4, with no patient assignments for charge nurses. Orientation includes 2 days on the floor and a pass/fail simulation exam on day one. The unit also has a hospitalist or intensivist present during the day and on-call at night. Interpretations of electrocardiograms (EKGs) are required, and the unit utilizes the Cerner charting system. The unit features Airvo/High Flow vents and supports 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy services. There is a hospitality cancellation policy allowing up to 4 shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
