Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist Location TBD. This role involves providing scrub and circulating support within a high-level trauma and academic medical center environment. The position requires well-rounded surgical skills across multiple service lines, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, general surgery, colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid surgical technology certification or relevant surgical experience, with at least 5+ years of experience in a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center setting. Experience in surgery center environments does not count toward the required years.
• Schedule: Rotating Evenings/Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/06/2027.
• Responsibilities: Scrub and circulate within operating rooms, supporting diverse service lines including ortho, neuro, plastics, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant. Support staff should be adaptable to float across departments.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be well-rounded, capable of assisting in various surgical procedures, and comfortable working in a fast-paced trauma and academic environment.
