Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location
Fort Wayne, Indiana
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside RN care for obstetrical patients presenting with a variety of needs including PPROM, SROM, rule-out labor, induction of labor, cesarean delivery, pre-eclampsia, and antepartum concerns
- Deliver high-acuity nursing care within a Level 3 Perinatal Center averaging 250+ deliveries per month
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
- Adhere to block scheduling protocols as applicable
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Indiana
- Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications required
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Familiarity with Level 3 Perinatal Center operations and protocols
