Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient care functions in the Operating Room in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and applicable facility policies and procedures
  • Provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members throughout the perioperative process
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities

Required Qualifications

  • Current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per state mandate
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a collaborative team player with schedule flexibility

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Telemetry experience
