Job Title

Travel RN – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and arrange necessary equipment prior to surgical procedures
• Serve as circulator and provide direct patient care in a 1:1 ratio during surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists throughout a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic, neurological, and robotic surgeries
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records
• Perform pre- and post-surgical patient care including transporting patients and applying dressings
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute hospital Operating Room setting (surgical center experience does not qualify)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong experience in orthopedic, neurological, and robotic surgical procedures
• Willingness to float to general OR as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience with Robotics/Da Vinci systems, including scrubbing
• Previous travel nursing experience with ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to function independently and integrate efficiently into an established OR team
