Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Stroke Unit

Location

Crestview, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Stroke Unit during night shift hours
Assess, monitor, and document neurological status and stroke-related patient conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility's electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

Active Florida state RN license or multistate (Compact) RN license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
Demonstrated stroke unit experience (must be reflected in submission)
AHCA compliance required for all Florida-based travel assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Stroke setting
Familiarity with acute stroke protocols and neurological assessment tools
