Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a wide acuity range
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
  • Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) protocols
  • Adhere to facility policies, compliance standards, and complete all required learning modules prior to assignment start

Required Qualifications

  • Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
  • Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room experience, with experience within the last 12 months
  • Active TNCC certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
  • Active NIHSS certification from an approved vendor
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
  • Valid driver's license required to verify residency; Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
  • Experience in acute-care hospital environments with high patient volume and varied acuity levels
