Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights) | Onsite | Every Third Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a pediatric through geriatric patient population in an acute care ER setting
• Triage and assess patients presenting with conditions including abdominal pain, nausea, chest pain, traumatic injuries, and farm-related accidents
• Deliver care across triage, general patient rooms, OB/GYN exam room, and trauma bays as assigned
• Perform blood draws as needed, including in trauma situations
• Coordinate and facilitate patient transport to higher-level care facilities when critical intervention is required
• Adhere to department dress code (navy blue scrubs) and participate in structured orientation program

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an emergency room department (firm requirement)
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Nebraska or a compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications issued through the American Heart Association
• TNCC certification required
• Reliable personal transportation required — rideshare services are not available in this area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing blood draws in clinical or trauma settings
• Familiarity with patient stabilization and transport protocols for critical care escalation
