Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Ambulatory OR)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) or 3x12s (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | No weekends | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in an ambulatory operating room setting across a 9-OR facility
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties within the operating room in accordance with scope of practice
• Float within the perioperative facility as needed to meet patient care demands
• Complete cases as required, including one late week per four-week period
• May be required to precept care team members within the operating room environment
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or compact nursing licensure (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by parent/staffing company)
• No first-time OR travelers accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, or Surgical Oncology
• Prior travel nursing experience in a perioperative setting
