CT Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology
Location
New Orleans, LA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | Mixed schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (Wednesday–Saturday, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM) and 3x12-hour shifts (Sunday–Tuesday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | 7 on / 7 off rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures across emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Float between ED, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinic locations as assigned
- Operate GE CT equipment in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards
- Document and manage patient imaging data using Epic electronic health records system
- Participate in holiday coverage when scheduled shifts fall on observed holidays
- Be prepared to serve on an emergency response or relief team in the event of a declared emergency, as directed by unit management
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT specialty
- Experience in ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT environments required
- Epic EMR experience required
- GE CT equipment experience required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Compact or Louisiana state license in hand at time of submittal
- Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as verified by driver's license address)
- First-time travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel contract experience in a high-volume or Level I/II facility setting
- Familiarity with multi-site or float-based CT assignments
