Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry, Float Pool – Nights

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 48-hour guarantee considered | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and applicable hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Float between multiple facilities and departments as assigned within the float pool

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Willingness and ability to float between multiple facilities and departments
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 6:1

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool setting
