Registered Nurse – NICU

Contract | Night Shift | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards
- Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in NICU
- Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid compact state license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
- One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)
- Clear background check required; open cases or license hits will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of NICU experience obtained within a single facility
- Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
