Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location

Waterloo, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Weekend Rotation (Every Third Weekend)

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, documenting all interventions accurately
Assess, report, and respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
Current BLS certification required
Prior experience in a Telemetry or step-down unit setting
Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor rhythms

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS certification preferred
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
