Job Title

Travel RN – NICU (Night Shift)

Location

Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU setting
  • Manage patient assignments with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
  • Perform and assist with procedures typical to a Level III or higher NICU environment
  • Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs and respiratory therapists
  • Float to Pediatrics, PICU, or Mother Baby (babies only) as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license with current eligibility to work in North Carolina
  • Minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized work style

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • S.T.A.B.L.E. program certification preferred
  • NIC-RNC (Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification) preferred
