Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Travel)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct physical therapy services to adult patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
Evaluate and treat patients with neurological, orthopedic, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cardiopulmonary diagnoses?
Deliver individualized and customized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's recovery goals
Participate in group and concurrent therapy modes as appropriate for patient care
Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including Vector, Lite Gait, Senaptec, and EKSO systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in the state of Florida
Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
Experience in acute, subacute, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation settings
Proficiency with electronic health records; experience with Cerner preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

Strong propensity for functional interventions and experience delivering group and concurrent therapy sessions
Experience treating neuro, orthopedic, TBI, SCI, and cardiopulmonary patient populations
High level of communication and collaboration skills with a patient-first attitude
