Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Location

Philadelphia, PA

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in a PACU setting
Deliver critical care nursing interventions in alignment with Level I Trauma center standards
Participate in an on-call schedule including 2 weekday on-call shifts and 1 weekend on-call shift per 6-week cycle, plus 1 summer and 1 winter holiday on-call shift
Document patient care accurately using Cerner Aecis Surgi Net electronic health record system
Float as needed to GI or pain center units when required

Required Qualifications

Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care or PACU
Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in SICU, MICU, or CTICU settings
Familiarity with Cerner Aecis Surgi Net charting system
