Job Title

Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)

Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting, maintaining a caseload of 5–6 patients per day
Deliver primarily 1:1 treatment sessions with some group therapy as needed
Treat patients presenting with diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, debility, amputation, cardiac conditions, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injuries
Utilize facility EHR systems (UDS Prodoc and Pinpoints) to document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Operate and apply durable medical equipment (DME) and therapy equipment appropriate to patient needs
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery and maximize functional outcomes

Required Qualifications

Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree required
Current, valid state Occupational Therapist license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members

Preferred Experience / Skills

At least 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience strongly preferred
Experience working with a geriatric patient population
Cooperative, team-oriented personality with a collaborative approach to patient care
