CT Technologist (Dual-Modality: CT & X-Ray)
Location
New York, NY
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Evenings | 4x9-Hour Shifts | Wednesday through Saturday, 2:30 PM to Midnight (with 30-minute lunch) | Training period for first two weeks: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and X-rays in a specialty orthopedic hospital setting, covering both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Conduct orthopedic imaging exams across a range of procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, head, and CT procedures such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, CTAs, brain perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Operate portable X-ray equipment as needed across various departments and settings including ER and adult ICU
- Manage a daily caseload of up to 20 patients spanning pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
- Rotate across multiple departments within the facility, including an off-site location directly across from the main hospital
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including EKG testing completion within 72 hours of signing and submission of required documentation within specified timelines
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT — both required at time of submittal
- Active New York State (NYS) license in hand or confirmed ETA on issue date at time of submittal
- IV Certification required at time of submittal
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Experience operating Siemens imaging equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Background in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU work settings
- Familiarity with portable imaging procedures
