Travel RN – Operating Room
Location
Lafayette, Indiana
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week | Weekday and Weekend On-Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Open Heart surgeries
- Function effectively within a 10-OR suite environment, utilizing a variety of OR equipment
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
- Anticipate surgical team needs and maintain a proactive, self-directed approach throughout procedures
- Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Robotics training or experience in a robotics-assisted surgical environment
- Experience with Vascular or Open Heart surgical procedures
