Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Circulator)
Location
Columbia, SC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday–Friday, one weekday off per week) | 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform circulating nurse duties across a wide range of surgical specialties in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient care throughout perioperative phases
- Float to other units and campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
- Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to and during contract
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room experience across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
- Willingness and ability to float to qualified units and campuses as requested
- Ability to complete pre-assignment testing and online modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or multi-specialty surgical environment
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements and orientation processes
