Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric populations.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation using GE Lightspeed and Canon SP Prime equipment.
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to appropriate locations.
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manage supply inventory.
• Support CT-guided procedures for the Interventional Radiology team during day shifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required.
• Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) state license in California required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Advanced certification in CT modality preferred in California.
• Experience working with Cerner EMR system preferred.
